Shape the MES while we build it
Qontiv is in design-partner phase with a small group of manufacturers. If you join us in this cohort, you get substantial Year 1 pricing, direct input on the roadmap, and an arrangement that recognizes the work you're putting in to validate the product.
What design partners get
Substantial Year 1 pricing
Year 1 discounts off list pricing, ramping to list pricing over 24–36 months. Exact terms are scoped at the demo conversation against your plant size and intended use. The intent is to make it easy to say yes to a multi-year arrangement while we're still earning your trust.
Direct roadmap input
Quarterly roadmap reviews with our product team. Feature requests from design partners are prioritized higher than general backlog. If you need a connector to a specific PLC, a specific OEM scorecard template, or a specific Annex 11 audit artifact, we build it.
Dedicated implementation engineer
You get a named engineer who knows your floor, your data, and your evaluation criteria. They run the structured 4-week pilot with you and stay assigned through go-live and beyond.
Lighthouse-reference arrangement
In exchange for the pricing and access, we ask you to be a reference for other manufacturers evaluating Qontiv — typically one or two reference calls per quarter, plus permission to mention you on our customer page once you're live. We never ask you to say something you don't believe; the arrangement is voluntary at every step.
Who this is for
The design-partner program is best suited for manufacturers who fit at least two of the following:
- You have a real MES problem worth solving. Either your floor has no MES today and you're tracking OEE on whiteboards, or you have a legacy MES that costs more than it returns and you're ready to replace it.
- You're in a regulated industry. Automotive (IATF 16949), aerospace (AS9100), medical device (ISO 13485 / FDA QMSR / 21 CFR Part 11), or food (FSMA 204 / GFSI). The compliance posture Qontiv is built around matters to you.
- You can commit to a structured pilot. 4-week pilot scoped against your equipment, your quality system, and a specific go/no-go decision criteria. You provide a quality engineer or production manager as the day-to-day point of contact; we provide the implementation engineer.
- You want input on the product. If you want to evaluate something off-the-shelf and never have a roadmap conversation, the design-partner program isn't the right fit — the regular Core / Professional / Enterprise tiers are.
How the engagement runs
- Demo conversation (30 minutes). We review your floor, your equipment, and the problem you're trying to solve. We tell you straight whether Qontiv fits — and whether the design-partner program makes sense for you specifically.
- Pilot scoping (1 week). We define a 4-week pilot with you: which lines, which equipment, which modules, what go/no-go criteria. Our implementation engineer joins your team for this phase.
- Pilot execution (4 weeks). Real data from your floor. Real production decisions through Qontiv. We meet weekly to track against the criteria.
- Go/no-go decision (week 5). You decide based on evidence. If you go, we move to the commercial arrangement. If you don't, no hard feelings — we'd rather you walk away than be unhappy.
What we ask for
- A 12-month minimum commitment once you go live, with a 90-day mutual termination right if either side becomes unhappy with the arrangement.
- One reference call per quarter for the first year, on average — typically 30 minutes with another manufacturer evaluating Qontiv.
- Permission to list you on our customer page once you're in production. You approve the wording. You can withdraw at any time.
- Honest feedback. If we ship something that doesn't work for you, we want to hear about it. The whole point of the cohort is that we get better because of the input.
That's it. No exclusivity. No data-sharing arrangements. No long-term lock-in.
